Partner With MED25

MED25 is a local organization with the reach, trust, and platform to deliver in communities that are hard for others to reach. We are looking for partners who want to build something durable here.

Why partner with a local organization

Mbita's farming and fishing communities are not easy to serve from a distance. MED25 is already there, already trusted, and already delivering. For partners seeking a credible local implementer on Lake Victoria, that foundation is the difference between a programme that reaches people and one that does not.

  • Programme Partnerships

Work with us to deliver community health programming in Mbita Sub-County. We bring an established facility, Community Health Volunteers across more than ten community health units, and the community trust that makes delivery possible in hard-to-reach places.

  • Funding Partnerships

Support a defined area of work, from maternal health to water and sanitation. We are building toward the reporting and compliance systems institutional funders require, and we are candid about where we are in that process.

  • Research & Technical Partnerships

Partner on implementation research, community scorecards, and evidence generation in a rural lake setting that is underrepresented in the literature. We can host fieldwork and co-design studies with communities.

  • Consortium Opportunities

We are open to joining consortia as a local implementing partner. County governments, INGOs, and research institutions working in Homa Bay County are welcome to get in touch.

MED25 International Kenya partners with Madaraka Festival, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Seattle, as its fundraising partner. Donations made in the United States are received through Madaraka Festival and are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
